TuneStretch (TPSR) tunable pulse stretcher provides a compact, robust, and cost-effective solution for controlling pulse durations in CPA systems using Treacy diffraction gratings or Volume Bragg Grating (VBG) compressors. Group Delay (GD) tuning eliminates the need for moving parts while retaining flexibility in laser output parameters.
This tunability allows users to correct temporal defects caused by compressor misalignment and offset amplifier-induced nonlinear effects. Additionally, it shortens product development cycles and compensates for manufacturing variations, improving the efficiency of laser assembly lines. The all-fiber construction ensures a compact, environmentally stable design suitable for a wide range of demanding applications, resulting in a customizable femtosecond pulse stretcher that enables ultrafast laser systems to be powerful, low-maintenance, and cost-effective.
The TuneStretch platform is compatible with all three quality grades of Chirped Fiber Bragg Gratings (CFBG): Core, High, and Ultra. This versatility allows users to select the optimal grade for their specific laser system requirements, balancing cost, performance, and technical specifications.
Specifically designed for high-energy ultrafast pulses as short as 150 fs, TuneStretch produces pedestal-free pulses with high energy and average power, all while maintaining environmental stability and low cost.

TuneStretch also features the Twin Peaks gain bandwidth enhancement option, which enables spectral shaping of the input pulse on the pulse stretcher itself. This feature counteracts gain narrowing, allowing for shorter amplified pulses without the need for additional components, such as optical filters.
