FixedStretch – PSR

Early on, indie recognized the emerging importance of ultrafast fiber lasers for industrial and medical applications. The FixedStretch is a high-precision Chirped Fiber Bragg Grating (CFBG) that greatly reduces the size and complexity of ultrafast CPA systems, making them more robust and compact without compromising performance. The unmatched design flexibility of the FixedStretch allows it to satisfy the unique dispersion requirements of individual customers, liberating system designs from some constraints. This customizable and cost-effective fixed-dispersion pulse stretcher leverages indie’s superior manufacturing methods to minimize phase errors, enabling ultrafast laser systems to generate clean pulses as short as 150 femtoseconds.

FixedStretch is available in all three quality grades—Core, High, and Ultra—allowing customers to choose the optimal solution for their specific application needs, balancing cost, performance, and technical requirements.

The FixedStretch also features a gain bandwidth enhancement option – called Twin Peaks – which enables spectral shaping of the input pulse before amplification on the pulse stretcher itself. This counteracts gain narrowing and allows for shorter amplified pulses without the need to add components like optical filters.
