The Right Quality for the Right Application
Chirped Pulse Amplification (CPA) ultrafast lasers are now widespread in a variety of applications, which implies that the system requirements vary greatly. Because indie understands this reality, several quality grades of Chirped Fiber Bragg Gratings (CFBG) pulse stretchers are available, to be used in both the FixedStretch and tunable TuneStretch platforms.
Choose the right quality grade for your laser requirements:
Core
Tailored to the dispersion parameters of a system in a cost-effective way. The Core quality grade CFBG enables the recompression of pulses down to 800 femtoseconds and is the only grade available at wavelengths outside of the Ytterbium gain (1010nm to 1070nm).
High
Specially designed to match diffraction grating (Treacy) compressors, the High-quality grade CFBG leverages indie’s superior manufacturing methods to minimize phase errors, allowing ultrafast laser systems to achieve pulse durations as short as 150 femtoseconds.
Ultra
The most advanced CFBG technology in the world was developed to enable the next generation of ultrafast fiber lasers. The Ultra quality grade CFBG offers unmatched control in both the temporal (phase) and spectral (reflectivity profile) domains, significantly reducing the phase and amplitude ripples. This improvement in both quality and repeatability opens new possibilities for designing and manufacturing more cost-effective CPA lasers of higher pulse energy.
